My mission is to harness the power of business, science and technology to educate a new generation of leaders dedicated to human-centered innovation and positive change.
I am a dean, professor, trainer, speaker, author, and educational entrepreneur.
I currently serve as a Dean of IE Business School and as a professor of Behavioral Science and Leadership at IE University in Madrid.
Imagine an organization in which employees at all levels are able to out-think and out-behave the competition… literally, over and over again in the moments of every workday that matter most. This is a company with a behavioral advantage, and my professional mission is to help individuals, teams and organizations achieve this type of advantage.
Experience. Prior to my current roles, I served as Dean of the IE School of Human Sciences & Technology, as an Engagement Manager with McKinsey & Company in Chicago and as a founder and senior manager in two technology-based start-ups in New York City (Brainstorm Interactive, and HR One).
Education. I completed interdisciplinary doctoral studies at the University of Michigan combining Psychology (Cognition & Cognitive Neuroscience) and Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence). I also hold an MBA (M.I.T. Sloan), a Masters in Technology Policy (M.I.T. TPP), and a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering magna cum laude and with honors (Brown University).
